Biology teaching in Brazil: 1970s to 2010:

Resumo: The teaching of Biology in Brazil has gone through several contexts over the last 05 (five) decades (1970-2010), with this, a research was carried out with the objective of understanding the relevance and the impact of different contexts in the teaching of Biology. For this, a qualitative approach, of bibliographic nature, was used, where articles, books, among other means of information were used, aiming to obtain relevant information about the teaching of Biology in the above mentioned decades. With the realization of this study, it was possible to verify that the teaching of Biology in the referred decades passed for several meanings, and that it was influenced by the characteristics of the Brazilian society of the referred decades.

Para isso, foi utilizada uma abordagem qualitativa, de cunho bibliográfico, onde foram utilizados artigos, livros, dissertações e teses, visando obter informações relevantes acerca do ensino de Biologia nas décadas supracitadas.
