Resumo: | The present work aims to understand the Freireana Pedagogy and its primordial for an education as a political practice, starting from the following guiding questions: how does the Freireana Pedagogy help us to think about the issues of our time? How to reinvent Freire in the face of contemporary challenges? In methodological terms this work assumes a qualitative nature, relying on the instruments of bibliographic research based in Freire (1981, 1985, 1987, 2001, 2013), which, in turn, conceives education as a practice of freedom from a pedagogy of the question; besides Brandão (1981), describing the Paulo Feire method as a possibility for a liberating education. As preliminary results we reaffirm that the pedagogy of Paulo Freire is essential to rethink the alienated and dominant practices of capitalist society and to build an education for freedom as a political act. |

Como reinventar Freire diante dos desafios contemporâneos? Em termos metodológicos esse trabalho assume natureza qualitativa apoiando-se nos instrumentos da pesquisa bibliográfica esteada em Freire (1981; 1985; 1987; 2001; 2013), que, por sua vez, concebe a educação como uma prática de liberdade a partir de uma pedagogia da pergunta; além de Brandão (1981), descrevendo o método Paulo Feire como uma possibilidade para uma educação libertadora.
