Resumo: The objective of this research is to analyze the continuing training of teachers of Professional Education at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte offered by Campus Natal Zona Leste. For this research, a bibliographic review was carried out to survey the theoretical framework on Professional Education and Teacher Education according to authors such as Ciavatta and Ramos (2011), Frigotto (2007), Moura (2008) and Souza (2013), documentary analysis of the sources produced by IFRN addressing continuing teacher education and consulting data from the IFRN Unified Public Administration System (SUAP). The data collected indicate that these teachers have been looking for continued training aimed at pedagogical training, alignment of teaching practice with the institution's perspectives and the use of educational technologies.

Para essa pesquisa foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica para levantamento do referencial teórico sobre Formação Profissional e Formação Docente segundo autores como Ciavatta e Ramos (2011), Frigotto (2007), Moura (2008) e Souza (2013), análise documental das fontes produzidas pelo IFRN que abordam a formação continuada docente e consulta a dados do Sistema Unificado de Administração Pública (SUAP) do IFRN.
