Dance, education, gender: conceptions and reflections in school relations

This work proposes to dialogue about the concepts of dance, education and gender. Here we will weave reflections and understandings about the approaches and, of course, the distance between them. Both in their doing, being and acting in society and for society. As a general issue: What relationships exist between dance and gender in education? Its objective is to understand the existing relationships between dance and gender in education. On the methodological paths, the work will establish a literature review relationship, Gil (2008), with a qualitative approach GODOY (1995). In view of the fact that, according to practice, teachers and the school can generate other ways of doing this dance, which avoid this gender relationship. Therefore, providing other exercises, based on the students' suggestions and thus finding an alternative to modify this binary practice.
