A meeting with Manoel de Barros and Manuel Rivas: notes about childhood

Resumo: The present study was based on a theme that is always contemporary and inherent to any individual: childhood. And this is found in the works selected here, namely the short story La lengua de las mariposas by Manuel Rivas and in the poems of Manoel de Barros. It aimed to present the elements coordinated through the perspective of childhood perceived in the two literary practices addressed. The study of comparative literature was the basis for the development of comparisons between the two different genres.

E, esta é encontrada nas obras selecionadas aqui, o conto La lengua de las mariposas de Manuel Rivas e nos poemas de Manoel de Barros. O objetivo foi apresentar os elementos que são articulados através da perspectiva da infância percebida nas duas práticas literárias em questão. A pesquisa qualitativa foi realizada nesta análise porque o tema permitiu a utilização de uma abordagem indutiva.
