Resumo: | The current educational context that we live in resuming face-to-face classes leads us to reflect on the impacts caused by covid-19. Objectives: To understand the real impacts of social isolation on mathematics teaching in the final years of elementary school. Methodology: Narrative literature review. Results: The analyzed studies point to gaps in the development of essential skills for students, such as difficulties in adapting to the online teaching methodology and students lack of motivation in remote teaching; the fact that the students themselves recognize that learning in online classes was not satisfactory and that remote teaching is not enough to offer and include everyone, generating exclusion and impacts on students' learning and intellectual development. Conclusion: We can conclude that the impacts of remote teaching on the discipline of mathematics have drastically affected student learning, with challenges being faced in the resumption of face-to-face teaching. |
