Pedagogy of the Landless Movement: Lessons and Counterpoints to Corporate Reform of Education

Resumo: | This research is the result of a Final Coursework in Pedagogy with the aim of reflecting on the impacts of the corporate reform of education on the schools of the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST), assessing the hypothesis of ideological persecution of the Movement and the conceptions proposed by critical pedagogies, particularly those advocated by Paulo Freire (2011). Theoretically, we follow two lines, the first addressing the pedagogical conception of education advocated by the MST as well as its history and analyzing what the Pedagogy of the Landless Movement is according to Caldart (2000), the second presenting the operation and conceptions surrounding the Corporate Reform of Education (FREITAS, 2018). Among the results, one can notice the perspective of comprehensive training and social emancipation of the subjects involved in the process of teaching and learning, it was possible to understand mechanisms of privatization of public education, through stratagems that consolidate the triad of destruction of public education: standardization, testing and accountability. |

Teoricamente, seguimos duas linhas, a primeira abordando a concepção pedagógica da educação defendida pelo MST assim como sua história e analisando qual é a Pedagogia do Movimento Sem Terra conforme Caldart (2000), a segunda apresentando o funcionamento e as concepções que cercam a Reforma Empresarial da Educação (FREITAS, 2018).
