CAP/AP: experiences from an inclusive perspective

Resumo: To report the experience of work carried out with family members of students with visual impairments who receive specialized educational assistance at the Pedagogical Support Center for Visual Impairment - CAP/AP. Method: Using a qualitative approach, an experience report was developed regarding pedagogical activities conducted with the family members of students being served by CAP/AP. Results: The activities carried out with family members contribute to the construction of knowledge in the field of visual impairment, fostering a collaborative relationship between these families and the center. Conclusion: CAP/AP is an educational center that develops scientific and social knowledge in the field of visual impairment. Thus, this experience with family members has yielded positive outcomes regarding the learning of students with visual impairments.

Thus, this experience with family members has yielded positive outcomes regarding the learning of students with visual impairments.O estudo tem como objetivo relatar a experiência do trabalho desenvolvido com familiares de estudantes com deficiência visual, que realizam o atendimento educacional especializado no Centro de Apoio Pedagógico à Pessoa com Deficiência Visual - CAP/AP. Desenvolveu-se um relato de experiência sobre as atividades pedagógicas realizadas com os familiares dos estudantes atendidos pelo CAP/AP, utilizando como método uma abordagem qualitativa. Resultados: as atividades desenvolvidas com os familiares contribuíram para a inclusão do estudante com deficiência visual, bem como a construção de conhecimentos na área da deficiência visual, possibilitando uma relação de colaboração entre essas famílias, estudante e o Centro. Conclusão: O CAP/AP é um centro de ensino, que desenvolve conhecimentos científicos, sociais, na área da deficiência visual.
