Teacher education and teaching practice: : a discussion about the learning of the orientations for teaching linguistic analysis

Resumo: | The objective of this study was to analyze how the pre-service teacher, in their practicum, reveals the learning of the most recent orientations for the teaching of linguistic analysis. We are based on two assumptions: the practice of linguistic analysis, as the overt reflection upon language functioning, is one of the central organizing points for the teaching of Portuguese; the practicum, articulating theory and practice, is a privileged space for learning how to teach. The corpus of this research is the practicum teaching reports written by undergraduate Portuguese Teaching majors at UFPE in their experience at high school, the three last years of basic education in Brazil. We concluded that most research participants showed mastery of the theoretical field on linguistic analysis, and also tried to develop activities based on such theoretical principles, but there are still some difficulties in the adoption of new perspectives of work regarding linguistic contents in classes. |

O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar como o professor em formação inicial, no processo de estágio, revela estar se apropriando das mais recentes orientações para o ensino de análise linguística. Partimos de dois pressupostos: a prática de análise linguística, enquanto trabalho de reflexão deliberada sobre o funcionamento da linguagem, constitui um dos eixos organizadores do ensino de português; o estágio, articulando teoria e prática, configura-se como espaço privilegiado de aprendizagem da docência. O corpus da pesquisa foi composto por relatórios de estágio de regência de turma de ensino médio escritos por alunos da licenciatura em Letras-Português da UFPE.
