Resumo: The concepts of lean processes and cost reduction in labor and materials throughout the production chain have seen increasing application in the workplace, particularly within the apparel manufacturing industry. This industry places critical importance on the costs associated with its development and production chain, especially when compared to the production processes in Asian countries. In this context, the aim of this research is to analyze the processes involved in the creation and development of products within the apparel manufacturing sector. It utilizes methodologies such as lean production and continuous improvement through Six Sigma to comprehend, map, and propose improvements in the processes associated with development and production. The ultimate goal is to construct a computational database tool that enables swift and informed decision-making for product development among user developers.

The ultimate goal is to construct a computational database tool that enables swift and informed decision-making for product development among user developers.O conceito de processos mais enxutos, redução de custo de mão de obra e materiais aplicados na cadeia produtiva tem sido cada vez mais empregados nos meios de trabalho, principalmente quando se fala da indústria de manufatura da confecção, que tem como fator crítico de seu processo os custos envolvidos em sua cadeia de desenvolvimento e produção, comparando-se, principalmente, com a produção dos países asiáticos.
