Resumo: In a social, political and cultural context, where there is an accumulation of opinions differing from one another, graphic design, in its conception of a communication tool, acts as a form of expression, serving as a channel between the message and the public. This article proposes to theoretically analyze how graphic design, through the use of semiotic tools, articulates the production and transmission of a discourse with an activist bias, in addition to seeking to understand how this discourse becomes part of political discussions in contemporary Brazil through the Design Ativista profile on Instagram.
