Resumo: | Based on the experience of three participants in the Occupy Estelita Movement, this paper aims both at presenting the movement and analyzing its influences and similarities in relation to other political movements – having Graphic Design as the primary focus. In order to do so, this study describes the workflow of designers engaged in the production of graphic pieces, which are analyzed and categorized. Such production is discussed in relation to 1) the Dutch movement Provos, 2) the Chilean campaign against Pinochet in 1988’s referendum, and 3) the series of protests in Brazil known as the “Journeys of June”. |
