Resumo: The article analyzes the consolidation of private property and the land market through purchase or sale of rural real estate departament of Río Cuarto Córdoba province between 1860 and 1880. The study was conducted around two variables number of transactions and negotiated surfaces. Both quantitative analysis allowed to determine the main trends, issues that were the sellers and buyers of land and the changes that occurred in the distribution of the soil. The work shows that a new legal framework was strengthened on the nature of liquid assets of the earth, manifesting in increased circulation of property. Also growing evidence that the negotiation of real state market was a way for the formation of large estates.

El estudio se llevó a cabo en torno de dos variables: número de operaciones y superficies negociadas. El análisis cuantitativo de ambas permitió determinar sus principales tendencias, los aspectos que se manifestaron entre los vendedores y los compradores de la tierra y las modificaciones que se produjeron en la distribución del suelo. El trabajo demuestra que en un nuevo contexto legal se fortaleció el carácter de activo líquido de la tierra, manifestándose en un aumento de la circulación de la propiedad. Asimismo, se prueba que la negociación creciente de los inmuebles en el mercado fue una vía a la formación del latifundio.O artigo analisa a consolidação da propriedade privada e do mercado fundiário através da compra e venda de propriedades rurais no departamento de Río Cuarto na província de Córdoba entre 1860 e 1880. O estudo foi realizado em torno de duas variáveis: número de operações e negociação superfícies. A análise quantitativa de ambos permitiu determinar suas principais tendências, os aspectos que se manifestaram entre os vendedores e os compradores da terra e as modificações que ocorreram na distribuição da terra. O trabalho mostra que em um novo contexto jurídico, o caráter de patrimônio líquido da terra foi fortalecido, manifestando-se no aumento da circulação da propriedade.
