Primary education under the Argentine Welfare State: the construction plans and the expansion of educational services in two municipalities of Mendoza/Argentina (1946-1955)

Resumo: An educational service with greater territorial scope, which would expand horizontally and reach populations in poor and remote areas of the territories, was one of the main goals of the government of Juan Domingo Peron. From this and located in the municipalities of the province of Mendoza/Argentina, our main objective is to study the spatial distribution of educational policies and the effects thereof on the educational level of the population. To fulfill this mission as a research strategy we have followed a case study, which analyzes and compares two municipalities of different socio-economic development as were San Rafael and Lavalle. This empirical study allows us to verify the real fulfillment of predetermined targets by Peronism.

A partir de ello y localizándonos en los municipios de la provincia de Mendoza/Argentina,nuestro objetivo principal es estudiar la distribución territorial de las políticas educativas y los efectos de las mismas sobre el nivel educativo de la población.Para cumplir con este propósito hemos seguido como estrategia investigativa un estudio de casos, en el cual se analizan y comparan dos municipios de diferente desarrollo socio-económico como fueron San Rafael y Lavalle. Este estudio empírico nos permitirá comprobar el real cumplimiento de los objetivos preestablecidos por el peronismo.Um serviço educacional de maior abrangência territorial, que se expandisse horizontalmente e alcançasse as populações das áreas mais atrasadas e remotas dos territórios, era um dos principais objetivos do governo de Juan Domingo Perón. Com base nisso e localizando-nos nos municípios da província de Mendoza/Argentina, nosso objetivo principal é estudar a distribuição territorial das políticas educacionais e seus efeitos sobre o nível educacional da população. estratégia um estudo de caso, no qual dois municípios de desenvolvimento socioeconômico diferente, como San Rafael e Lavalle, são analisados e comparados.
