Local history, historiography and teaching about the relationship between theory and methodology in teaching history

Resumo: This text is part of the debate that currently has been held around t he local history as a proposal for teaching history in elementary school. Therein, that while this perspective is important to break with traditional history, lack of academic studies more specifically aimed at this “kind” or “approach” the writing of history. Having this statement in theory, be appointed to draw up relevant issues that seek to relate the history, historiography and school education, in order to understand to what extent the theoretical and methodological review, carried out by a significant range of contemporary historians have allowed rethink concepts of time, space, objects and scales of analysis that might form the basis for thinking about local history in theoretical and methodological terms. Along the way, signaled positive contributions to the new urban history can offer at this time, highlighting the efforts of the French historian Bernard Lepetit.

Nesse sentido, apontou que, embora tal perspectiva seja importante para romper com a história tradicional, carece de estudos acadêmicos mais especificamente voltados para esse “tipo” ou “abordagem” da escrita da história. Tendo por hipótese essa afirmação, indicou ser relevante a elaboração de problemas que procurem relacionar história, historiografia e ensino escolar, com o objetivo de perceber em que medida as revisões teóricas e metodológicas, realizadas por uma significativa gama de historiadores contemporaneamente, têm permitido repensar conceitos de tempo, espaço, objetos e escalas de análises que possam servir de base para pensar a história local em termos teóricos e metodológicos.
