Conceptions of local history on the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais do Brasil (1997) an analysis based on the perspective of the Historical Education

Resumo: This text aims to identify the conceptions of local history present in the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais, published in 1997. The theoretical line of investigation dialogues with the History Education, which has as its object of study the didactics of history and the problems related to historical learning. Research line based on the Theory and Philosophy of history and that adopts theoretical and methodological assumptions of qualitative research. From the contextualized reading of the document, it was identified that the concept of local history is related to the notion of didactic transposition as a methodological strategy for teaching history, guided by learning theories from pedagogy. In a contradictory way, local history also appears as a content capable of promoting citizenship through its relationship with students' memory and identities. Among the conclusions, the imprisonment of local history is questioned as a strategic content of the early years, being neglected in the following years of schooling. It is suggested to bring reflections on local history and history teaching to a cognition situated in the science of reference.

It is suggested to bring reflections on local history and history teaching to a cognition situated in the science of reference.  O presente texto visa identificar as concepções de história local presente nos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais, publicados em 1997. A linha teórica de investigação dialoga com o referencial da Educação Histórica, a qual tem por objeto de estudo a didática da história e as problemáticas relacionadas à aprendizagem histórica. Linha de investigação pautada na Teoria e Filosofia da História e que adota pressupostos teórico-metodológicos da pesquisa qualitativa. A partir da leitura contextualizada do documento, identificou-se que a concepção de história local relaciona-se à noção de transposição didática enquanto uma estratégia metodológica de ensino da história, orientada por teorias de aprendizagem oriundas da pedagogia. De forma contraditória, a história local figura, também, como um conteúdo capaz de promover a cidadania pela sua relação com a memória e com as identidades dos estudantes. Dentre as conclusões, questiona-se o aprisionamento da história local como um conteúdo estratégico dos anos iniciais, sendo preterida nos anos seguintes da escolarização.
