Validation of professors’ competences in the area of nursing administration

Resumo: | Objective: to validate a set of professors’ competences in the area of nursing administration. Method: quantitative methodological study, whose data was collected using the Delphi technique. It was operationalized by sending a preliminary version of a set of teaching competences, description and indicators that lead to maintaining and/or developing them via electronic mail. A total of 22 nursing administration professors participated in the study. A descriptive analysis was used, as well as the Index of Agreement, for final analysis of the instrument items. Results: A total of 29 competences were validated and the technical, academic, didactic-pedagogical and ethical-political competences were outlined as domains. The general agreement of the items was 92.14%, evidencing a high level of agreement in the validated items. Conclusion: the validation of teaching competences in nursing administration allowed to highlight the profile of this professional in the fields of nursing training and professional practice, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience. |

Método: se trata de un estudio metodológico cuantitativo, cuya recopilación de datos se llevó a cabo con la técnica Delphi. Para su realización, se envió por correo electrónico una versión preliminar de un conjunto de competencias de enseñanza, descripción e indicadores que permiten mantener y/o desarrollar dichas técnicas. Participaron del estudio veintidós docentes de administración en enfermería. Para el análisis final de los elementos del instrumento se utilizó el análisis descriptivo, así como el Índice de Concordancia. Resultados: se validaron 29 competencias y se perfilaron como dominios las competencias técnicas, académicas, didáctico-pedagógicas y ético-políticas. La concordancia general de los elementos en las cuestiones validadas fue alta, 92,14%. Conclusión: la validación de las competencias docentes en materia de administración en enfermería ha permitido poner de relieve el perfil de este profesional en las áreas de formación y práctica profesional, ya que logra integrar el conocimiento teórico con la experiencia práctica.Objetivo: validar uma lista de competências do docente da área de administração em enfermagem. Método: estudo metodológico quantitativo, cuja coleta de dados deu-se pela técnica Delphi. Operacionalizou-se por envio via correio eletrônico de versão preliminar de uma lista de competências docentes explicitando nome destas, descrição e indicadores que levam a manter e/ou desenvolver tais competências. Participaram vinte e dois docentes de administração em enfermagem, selecionados por pesquisa na Plataforma Lattes e por procura nos diretórios de grupos de pesquisa do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico. Resultados: validaram-se 29 competências e delinearam-se como domínios as competências técnica, acadêmica, didático-pedagógica e ético-política. A concordância geral dos itens apresentou alfa de Cronbach de 92,14%, evidenciando-se forte consistência positiva nos quesitos validados.
