Polyphonic referentiality and literature teaching: an introduction

Resumo: The proposed paper aims to inquire the conceptions of subject and sense and initiate a reflection on how the knowledge and understanding of the concept of polyphonic referentiality, proposed by Santos (2012), from a theoretical extension of Mikhail Bakhtin´s thought about the notion of polyphony, might become a tool for thinking issues related to literature teaching. To support our reflections, we stablished as a corpus for analysis the document “Curriculum Guidelines for Elementary Education: Languages, codes and its technologies” (2008) so that it serves as a subsidy to support the issues and aim to show that they are constituted as a common concern in the educational environment.
