The discourse gender/textual in didactic books of Portuguese Language: a proposal for innovation guided from official documents

New theories in linguistic areas, a long time are being the reason of innovation in Portuguese Language Teaching and consequently helped to reformulate the curriculum. Those changes pointed the traditional teaching as old and obsolete and the teaching about the linguistic studies as something new. An example of this are the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCNs) (1998), which help the pedagogical practice of the teachers and the elaboration of the didactic books approved by PNLD, which are some objects of search analyses. In the PCN, the focus is in the theory of discursive and textual genders which stimulate the necessity of an innovation in the mean perspective of the didactic books. In the guide, it’s possible to find the presentations of the books approved by PNLD. The results point to the fact that the books to the next three years, 2011-2013 are being more organized to the orientation to the PCN about the discursive and textual genders. Therefore, the main focus is the way that the conciliation is happening, the new and the old are together, without radicalisms that possibly come to prejudice the institutionalized culture.
