Resumo: | The text invests in the ethnography of school scenes, a method that references cultural ethnography. The scenes was collected in public schools in Porto Alegre between 2008 and 2013 in an attempt to surprise the emergence and direction given to issues related mainly to sexuality, but without fail to understand its contours gender. Matter content of the dialogue scenes with some markers that opened the field of sexuality studies in the first half of the last century, particularly as expressed by authors Kinsey, Masters & Johnson, Hite, Hirschfeld & Ellis. As the critical discourse of the founding of the field of studies on sexuality resource, we make use of some works and themes problematized by Foucault. The text track a path that consists of three sections. In the first, we present some aspects of the emergence of sexuality as a field of knowledge, but also as a field of political dispute. Naming some elements, we seek to problematize the constitution of this field of research on sexuality in particular in Western scientific thought on the idea of reason and science, and in close connection with health and biology. In a second section collects some school scenes showing the confrontation between "normal" and "deviant" or "different" in conflict with the norm. In the third section, some recommendations are made to work with the theme of sexuality in the school environment, seeking to bring it to the part of the school and worthy of being in the curricula alongside other issues already canonical knowledge. |

O texto investe na etnografia de cenas escolares, método que faz referência a etnografia cultural, coletadas em escolas públicas da cidade de Porto Alegre entre 2008 e 2013, na tentativa de surpreender a emergência e o encaminhamento dado a questões ligadas principalmente à sexualidade, mas sem deixar de perceber seus contornos de gênero. Interessa dialogar o conteúdo das cenas com alguns marcadores que inauguraram o campo dos estudos da sexualidade na primeira metade do século passado, em particular expressos por autores como Kinsey, Masters & Johnson, Hite, Hirschfeld & Ellis. Como recurso crítico aos discursos de fundação do campo de estudos sobre a sexualidade, nos valemos de alguns obras e temas problematizados por Foucault. O texto trilha um caminho que comporta três seções. Na primeira delas, apresentam-se alguns aspectos da emergência da sexualidade como um campo de conhecimento, mas também como um campo de disputa política. Nomeando alguns elementos, se busca problematizar a constituição deste campo de estudos sobre a sexualidade em especial no pensamento científico ocidental, ligado a ideia da razão e da ciência, e em estreita conexão com a saúde e a biologia. Numa segunda seção se recolhem algumas cenas escolares que mostram o confronto entre os “normais” e os “desviantes” ou “diferentes”, em conflito com a norma. Na terceira seção são feitas algumas recomendações para o trabalho com o tema da sexualidade no ambiente escolar, buscando traze-lo para o âmbito do conhecimento escolar e digno de figurar nas grades curriculares ao lado de outros temas já canônicos.
