Gender and sexuality in everyday school life

Resumo: | In the school environment, there are constantly events that allow debates about how gender and sexuality issues are experienced in school institutions. Thus, it was verified the need to understand the way a school manager experiences and acts in these spaces. Through research with a qualitative approach with the use of semi-structured interviews and discourse analysis, it was intended to analyze how a public school manager in a municipality in the interior of São Paulo interprets gender and sexuality issues in her professional trajectory. It is possible to conclude that the school space is marked by hostile actions tensioned by social issues, even if there is an apparent concern with the integration scenarios for the subjects attending the education. In line, the demand for training courses is identified, mainly from the concern with the terminologies about the areas referenced here. |

In line, the demand for training courses is identified, mainly from the concern with the terminologies about the areas referenced here.No ambiente escolar, observa-se constantemente eventos que possibilitam debates sobre como as questões de gênero e sexualidade são vivenciadas nas instituições escolares. Assim, verificou-se a necessidade de compreender a maneira tal qual uma gestora escolar vivencia e atua nestes espaços. Por meio de pesquisa com abordagem qualitativa com o uso de entrevista semiestruturada e análise de discurso, pretendeu-se analisar como uma gestora de escola pública de um município do interior paulista interpreta as questões de gênero e sexualidade em sua trajetória profissional. É possível concluir que o espaço escolar é marcado por ações hostis tensionadas por questões sociais, mesmo que se tenha uma aparente preocupação com os cenários de integração para os sujeitos frequentadores da educação.
