The main objective of this paper is to analyze the relationship between large-scale evaluation and school management in some schools of the Cascavel / Paraná Municipal Public School. The methodology is qualitative and the primary sources are: Pedagogical Political Project of the Schools, School Management Plan and School Contraturnal Projects; interviews with principals and pedagogical coordinators. As secondary sources, we use references such asAfonso (2000), Luckesi (2008), Sandri (2016), Souza (2006), Zanardini e Xavier (2015) e Zanardini (2008), among others. One of the trends identified in the research is the search of schools to achieve, maintain and expand the results announced by the Basic Education Development Index, from the perspective of the managerial perspective, while announcing in their documents their intentions for democratic management and evaluation diagnosis.
