INGRESSO E PERMANÊNCIA EM UMA LICENCIATURA EM EDUCAÇÃO DO CAMPO: UMA ANÁLISE A PARTIR DA TEORIA DAS REPRESENTAÇÕES SOCIAIS

Resumo: The article presents the motivations for enrolling and remaining in a Rural Education Degree Course, areas of knowledge Natural Sciences and Mathematics, at an HEI in Minas Gerais (Brazil). The instrument used to construct the data was a Google Forms questionnaire. The Theory of Social Representations was adopted as a theoretical framework. As a result, it was found that the motivation for admission is based on the social representation that this is an opportunity to be on an undergraduate course, which dialogues with the peasant reality. They also highlighted the Pedagogy of Alternation as something essential in their choices. The central core of the social representation about staying on the course are the terms: dedication and dream. Knowing the social representations that support the entry and retention of students at LECampo can provide important indications for the course and for the promotion of public policies.

El instrumento utilizado para construir los datos fue un cuestionario de Google Forms. Se adoptó como marco teórico la Teoría de las Representaciones Sociales. Como resultado, se encontró que la motivación para el ingreso se basa en la representación social de que se trata de una oportunidad de estar en una carrera de pregrado, que dialoga con la realidad campesina. También destacaron la Pedagogía de la Alternancia como algo esencial en sus elecciones. El núcleo central de la representación social sobre la permanencia en el rumbo son los términos: dedicación y sueño. Conocer las representaciones sociales que sustentan el ingreso y la permanencia de estudiantes en LECampo puede proporcionar indicaciones importantes para el rumbo y para la promoción de políticas públicas.O artigo apresenta as motivações para o ingresso e permanência em uma Licenciatura em Educação do Campo, áreas do conhecimento Ciências da Natureza e Matemática, em uma IES mineira. O instrumento utilizado para a construção dos dados foi um questionário Google Forms. Adotou-se como referencial teórico a Teoria das Representações Sociais. Como resultados, verificou-se que a motivação para o ingresso se pauta na representação social que essa é uma oportunidade para estar em um curso de graduação, que dialoga com a realidade campesina. Ressaltaram, ainda, a Pedagogia da Alternância como algo essencial em suas escolhas. O núcleo-central da representação social sobre permanência no curso são os termos: dedicação e sonho.
