Resumo: Our aim in this article is to study the fictional text K.: relato de uma busca, by B. Kucinski, which shows the search of a father for his daughter who disappeared in April 1974, during the most violent period of the military regime. We chose to identify in the narrative the presence of apparatuses imposed by the dictatorship, which created barriers to the revelation of the truth about those who disappeared during the regime. The analysis is based upon discussions by Michel Foucault and Giorgio Agamben about the concept of apparatus. The article is divided into three parts: in the first, we discuss the dictatorship; in the second, we discuss the concept of apparatus; and in the third, we analyze the book.

Elegimos identificar en la narrativa la presencia de dispositivos impuestos por la dictadura, creando barreras para revelar la verdad sobre los desaparecidos durante el régimen. El análisis está respaldado por discusiones de Michel Foucault y Giorgio Agamben sobre el concepto de dispositivo. El artículo se divide en tres partes: en la primera, abordamos la dictadura; en el segundo, discutimos el concepto de dispositivo; en el tercero, analizamos el libro.Nosso objetivo neste artigo é estudar o texto ficcional K.: relato de uma busca, de B. Kucinski, que mostra a procura de um pai pela filha desaparecida na (e pela) ditadura militar em abril de 1974, no período mais violento do regime. Optamos por identificar na narrativa a presença de dispositivos impostos pela ditadura, criando barreiras à revelação da verdade quanto aos desaparecidos durante o regime. A análise se ampara em discussões de Michel Foucault e Giorgio Agamben sobre o conceito de dispositivo.
