Resumo: The objective is to understand the conceptions that Physical Education teachers have about Activities in Nature (ACN) that occur in the school context. The research is based on the interpretive paradigm with qualitative methodology, in which a semi-structured interview was applied to 12 high school Physical Education teachers in the city of Talca-Chile. The results indicate that these activities, among other things, contribute to a greater environmental awareness on the part of students, enabling the realization of different bodily practices in the natural environment. It is concluded that teachers need more training in the area, as the ACN become a pedagogical strategy that privileges autonomy, reflection and the development of values, fundamental issues for the integral development of young people and adolescents.

Department of Physical Education - State University of Maringá (UEM), Maringá-PR, Brazil2022-04-05info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/article/view/6019910.4025/jphyseduc.v33i1.3328Journal of Physical Education; Vol 33 No 1 (2022): Journal of Physical Education; e-3328Journal of Physical Education; Vol. 33 Núm. 1 (2022): Journal of Physical Education; e-3328Journal of Physical Education; v. 33 n. 1 (2022): Journal of Physical Education; e-33282448-2455reponame:Journal of Physical Education (Maringá)instname:Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM)instacron:UEMenghttps://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/article/view/60199/751375153967Copyright (c) 2022 Journal of Physical Education https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAlmonacid-Fierro, AlejandroCastillo-Retamal, FranklinSouza de Carvalho, RicardoVargas-Vitoria, RodrigoArellano, Rodrigo2022-05-11T12:42:33Zoai:periodicos.uem.br/ojs:article/60199Revistahttp://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/indexPUBhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.php||revdef@uem.br2448-24552448-2455opendoar:2022-05-11T12:42:33Journal of Physical Education (Maringá) - Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM)false
