Assessment of teaching of Physical Education in the perception of students from public and private schools

Resumo: | The Psycical Education (PE) in schools has the aim of introducting and integrating the student corporally and in movement. When the students find in those classes the satisfaction of such learning and take this knowledge outside of the school, there is the success. On this subject, there is the aim of identifying the profile of students who take part in the Physical Education classes, as well as pointing out their perception concerning these classes. It was carried out a Survey descriptive campus study, considering the probabilistic sample with conglomerates, composed by 496 students, using Darido’s (2004) adapted questionnaire. The results were transcribed and assessed through the descriptive and inferencial statistics (chi-squared), with the significance level of 0,05. Among the variety of results, it was depicted that the students practice sports, take part in the classes, and feel themselves satisfied: however, suggest varying a little the contend of these classes, inserting different sports, and ludic activities, including Physical Education and Health related themes. |

Quando os alunos encontrarem nestas aulas a satisfação deste aprendizado e transportarem esse conhecimento para fora da escola, ter-se-á obtido o desejado sucesso. Diante disto objetivou-se identificar o perfil dos escolares que participam das aulas de EF assim como sua percepção quanto a estas aulas. O estudo foi de campo e de caráter descritivo do tipo survey. A amostra probabilística foi por conglomerados e se constituiu de 496 alunos. Utilizou-se no estudo o questionário adaptado de Darido (2004). Os resultados foram transcritos e analisados através da estatística descritiva e inferencial (qui-quadrado), com nível de significância de 0.05.
