Resumo: | Usability is defined by the International Organization for Standardization, according to ISO 9241-11: 1998 as a measure to improve the ease of use of software during the process of use, aiming to achieve specific objectives such as: effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction. Thus, within the context of the IHS assessment, it is necessary to identify the emotional states of the users to understand the impact that emotions generate in the operation of the systems by the users. An alternative for this mapping is the use of biofeedback systems, where electronic or electromechanical instruments are used through sensors that collect physiological signals from the body, being processed and going to a software that performs the treatment of the data, making the information available on a display. . The present work had as objective to identify equipments that measure physiological signals and that assist in the emotional recognition of users in a usability test environment. The research was carried out through an integrative review, in which it was possible to identify the equipment for emotional recognition: the electrocardiogram, the thermography, the electromyography, the galvanic skin response, the respiration rate and the electroencephalogram, as well as the algorithms related to each signal and its application sites on the body. Given the study, the equipment that has the greatest expectation to identify the emotional is the electrocardiogram, and what brings less information is the respiration rate. Considering a usability evaluation in which the user is static and that one can have a view of his face, with temperature control and with adequate lighting in the test room, thermography is the most interesting option to identify the user's emotional, if present limitations of environment, temperature, the electrocardiogram is the most appropriate option. If the user is moving, the electrocardiogram and the galvanic conductance of the skin can be used, which allows it to be used in wearable devices, although it is not fully reliable because in motion, there is a generation of noise and problems inherent to the movement that can interfere in the signal result. Keywords: Usability. Biofeedback. Emotion. Emotional behavior. |

Emotional behavior.
