Resumo: This study presents a survey of the state of the art of research on the initial training of literacy teachers. This qualitative research investigated how the topic is addressed in theses, dissertations, events and scientific journals produced between 2010 and 2020. Data collection was carried out by consulting the theses and dissertations database of the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), the Sucupira Platform, the Journal Portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and scientific event websites. These publications were analyzed and categorized by the themes of initial training and literacy teachers. On the one hand, the results show that the themes of teacher training, curriculum and specific knowledge about literacy (language) were more frequent in the publications. On the other hand, the results point to the need for further research to understand the initial training of literacy teachers from the hegemonically produced discourse. Keywords: Academic production. Literacy teachers.Este estudio presenta una encuesta sobre el estado del arte de las investigaciones sobre la formación inicial del profesor alfabetizador.  Esta investigación, de origen cualitativo, investigó cómo el tema es abordado en las tesis, disertaciones, los eventos y las revistas científicas producidas entre 2010 y 2020. La recolección de datos fue realizada mediante la consulta de la base de datos de tesis y disertaciones de la Biblioteca Digital Brasileña de Tesis y Disertaciones (BDTD), de la Plataforma Sucupira, del Portal de Períodicos de la Coordinación de Perfeccionamiento de Personal de Nivel Superior (Capes), de Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) y de sitios web de eventos científicos. Estas publicaciones fueron analizadas y categorizadas por temas formación inicial y profesores alfabetizadores. Por un lado, los resultados evidencian que los temas formación docente, currículo y conocimientos específicos sobre alfabetización (lenguaje) fueron más frecuentes en las publicaciones.  Por otro lado, los resultados apuntan a la necesidad de profundizar las investigaciones para la comprensión de la formación inicial del profesor alfabetizador a partir del discurso producido hegemónicamente. Profesores alfabetizadores.Este estudo apresenta o levantamento do estado da arte das pesquisas sobre a formação inicial do professor alfabetizador. Esta pesquisa, de cunho qualitativo, investigou como o tema é abordado nas teses, nas dissertações, nos eventos e nos periódicos científicos produzidos entre 2010 e 2020. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de consulta junto ao banco de teses e dissertações da Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD), à Plataforma Sucupira, ao Portal de Periódicos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes), à Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) e a sites de eventos científicos. Essas publicações foram analisadas e categorizadas pelos temas formação inicial e professores alfabetizadores. Por um lado, os resultados evidenciam que os temas formação de professores, currículo e conhecimentos específicos sobre alfabetização (linguagem) foram mais frequentes nas publicações. Por outro lado, os resultados apontam a necessidade de aprofundar as pesquisas para a compreensão da formação inicial do professor alfabetizador a partir do discurso produzido hegemonicamente.
