Resumo: | This text has as main objective to present a curricular analysis about teacher training by areas of knowledge in the Teaching degree courses in Field Education in the Northeast Region of Brazil. This is a documentary study based on the reading and analysis of curricula and curricular matrices of 11 courses belonging to Federal Universities and Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology. As a result, we emphasize, among other aspects, that it is essential to rethink about teacher training by areas of knowledge. Although there are important issues in the curricular organization of the courses, such as, among others, the emphasis given to knowledge and social, cultural, educational content, for example, contributing to a more political teacher education, we understand that the training by areas of knowledge, a central characteristic for teacher training in undergraduate courses, presents itself in the curricula of the courses in a disciplinary perspective. Curriculum.Este texto tiene como objetivo principal presentar un análisis curricular sobre la formación de profesores por áreas de conocimiento en los Cursos de Licenciatura en Educación del Campo de la Región Noreste de Brasil. Se trata de un estudio documental que se basa en la lectura y en el análisis de currículos y de matrices curriculares de 11 cursos pertenecientes a Universidades Federales e Institutos Federales de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología. Como resultado, se destaca, entre otros aspectos, que es fundamental repensar sobre la formación de profesores por áreas de conocimiento. A pesar de que hay cuestiones importantes en la organización curricular de los cursos, como, entre otras, el énfasis dado a los conocimientos y a los contenidos de cuño social, cultural, educativo, por ejemplo, contribuyendo a una formación más política del profesor, se entiende que la formación por áreas de conocimiento, característica central para la formación docente en las graduaciones, se presenta en los planes de estudios de los cursos en una perspectiva disciplinaria. Currículo.Este texto tem como objetivo principal apresentar uma análise curricular acerca da formação de professores por áreas de conhecimento nos Cursos de Licenciatura em Educação do Campo da Região Nordeste do Brasil. Trata-se de um estudo documental que se apoia na leitura e na análise de currículos e de matrizes curriculares de 11 cursos pertencentes a Universidades Federais e Institutos Federais de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia. Como resultado, salienta-se, entre outros aspectos, que é fundamental repensar a respeito da formação de professores por áreas de conhecimento. Apesar de haver questões importantes na organização curricular dos cursos, como, entre outras, a ênfase dada aos conhecimentos e aos conteúdos de cunho social, cultural, educacional, por exemplo, contribuindo para uma formação mais política do professor, entende-se que a formação por áreas de conhecimento, característica central para a formação docente nas Graduações, se apresenta nos currículos dos cursos em uma perspectiva disciplinar.
