Resumo: This article aimed to rescue and reflect on how Paulo Freire’s teachings on the ideals of a liberating, dialogical and democratic education can help to implement the assumptions of the Technical and Technological Professional Education. It was sought to discuss the fundamental concepts in the Freirian studies for the implementation of humanistic education in the interim of contemporary schools, aiming at the omnilateral education of students, so that they may be able to build their sociability as autonomous citizens and protagonists of their stories. The Freirian legacy seems extremely current due to the reality that afflicts professionals in the Brazilian education. Thus, the text discusses the assumptions of professional education in the light of the teachings of the great Brazilian educator. Keywords: Paulo Freire. Professional Education. Integral education.

Integral education.Este artículo tuvo como objetivo rescatar y reflexionar sobre cómo las enseñanzas de Paulo Freire sobre los ideales de una educación liberadora, dialógica y democrática pueden auxiliar la efectuación de las suposiciones de la Educación Profesional Técnica y Tecnológica. Se buscó discutir los conceptos fundamentales en los estudios Freirianos para la ejecución de una educación humanística en los interines de las escuelas contemporáneas, con miras en la formación omnilateral de los educandos, con la finalidad de que estos puedan ser capaces de construir sus sociabilidades como ciudadanos autónomos y protagonistas de sus historias. El legado Freiriano parece extremadamente actual en función de la realidad que tanto aflige a los profesionales de la educación brasileña. De esta forma, el texto discute las suposiciones de la educación profesional a la luz de las enseñanzas del gran educador brasileño. Palabras clave: Paulo Freire. Educación Profesional. Formación integral.Este artigo teve como objetivo resgatar e refletir como os ensinamentos de Paulo Freire sobre os ideais de uma educação libertadora, dialógica e democrática podem auxiliar a efetivação dos pressupostos da Educação Profissional Técnica e Tecnológica. Buscou-se discutir os conceitos fundamentais nos estudos Freirianos para a execução de uma educação humanística nos ínterins das escolas contemporâneas, visando à formação omnilateral dos educandos, a fim de que estes possam ser capazes de construir suas sociabilidades como cidadãos autônomos e protagonistas de suas histórias. O legado Freiriano parece extremamente atual em função da realidade que tanto aflige os profissionais da educação brasileira.
