(Auto)Biographical Research in post-structural key: conversations with Judith Butler

Resumo: In this theoretical essay, we investigated approaches and tensions between Butler’s thoughts and the field of (Auto)Biographical Educational Research. We focused initially on historical, theoretical and methodological aspects of (Auto)Biographical Research, especially on the national scenario, highlighted in presentations of thematic dossiers, association letters and review papers. Then, we discussed the challenge involved in the approximation between the theoretical assumptions of (Auto)Biographical Research and philosophical assumptions of the Post-structural movement. Finally, we argued in defense of plausibility and theoretical consistency of approach between post-structuralism and (Auto)Biographical Research considering the possibility of invention of performative and post-metaphysical narratives of oneself.   Keywords: (Auto)Biographical Research. Se centra inicialmente en aspectos históricos y teórico-metodológicos de las investigaciones (Auto)Biográficas, sobre todo en el escenario nacional, destacados en las presentaciones de dossiers temáticos, cartas de asociaciones y artículos de revisión. A continuación, se discute acerca del desafío involucrado en el acercamiento entre los supuestos teóricos de las Investigaciones (Auto)Biográficas y pensamientos filosóficos del movimiento Post-estructural. Por último, se argumenta en defensa de la plausibilidad y de la consistencia teórica del acercamiento entre el post-estructuralismo y las Investigaciones (Auto)Biográficas teniendo en cuenta la posibilidad de invención de las narrativas performativas y post-metafísicas de sí.   Palabras clave: Investigaciones (Auto)Biográficas. Focaliza-se, inicialmente, nos aspectos históricos e teórico-metodológicos das Pesquisas (Auto)Biográficas, sobretudo no cenário nacional, destacados em apresentações de dossiês temáticos, cartas de associações e artigos de revisão. Em seguida, discute-se acerca do desafio envolvido na aproximação entre os pressupostos teóricos das Pesquisas (Auto)Biográficas e os pressupostos filosóficos do movimento Pós-estrutural.
