Resumo: | The process of inclusion of disabled people in school contexts, even considering the advances produced in the context of Brazilian education laws, is still a great challenge to the materialization of a fair, plural and egalitarian educational project for all citizens. In this sense, this study carried out qualitative-quantitative, descriptive and exploratory research, aiming at analysing the understanding of graduates of the Physical Education course about the initial training process experienced and its possible contributions to the work in basic education in an inclusive perspective. The results revealed the importance of teachers’ initial training processes to strengthen the articulation between teaching, research and extension, allied to a critical-reflexive perspective as a way to reinforce the inclusive pedagogical praxis. Inclusion.El proceso de inclusión de las personas con discapacidad en el contexto escolar, a pesar de los avances realizados en el marco de la legislación educativa brasileña, también presenta un desafío importante para la realización de un proyecto educativo justo, plural e igual a todos los ciudadanos. De este modo, este estudio llevó a cabo una investigación cualitativa cuantitativa, descriptiva y exploratoria, con el objetivo de analizar la comprensión de los graduados en Licenciatura en Educación Física desde el proceso de formación inicial y analizó a estas contribuciones por una perspectiva de inclusión, en la enseñanza de educación básica. Los resultados muestran la importancia del proceso de formación inicial de los profesores en fortalecer los vínculos entre la educación, la investigación y la extensión, a partir de la perspectiva crítica y reflexiva, con el fin de inserir las praxis pedagógicas como sedimento de la inclusión. Inclusión.O processo de inclusão das pessoas com deficiência em contextos escolares, em que pesem os avanços produzidos no âmbito das legislações educacionais brasileiras, ainda se apresenta como um grande desafio à materialização de um projeto educacional justo, plural e igualitário a todos os cidadãos. Nessa direção, este estudo realizou uma pesquisa qualiquantitativa, descritiva e exploratória, com o objetivo de analisar o entendimento de egressos do curso de Licenciatura em Educação Física acerca do processo de formação inicial vivido e suas possíveis contribuições para atuação na Educação Básica na perspectiva inclusiva. Os resultados evidenciam a importância de que os processos de formação inicial de professores fortaleçam a articulação entre o ensino, a pesquisa e a extensão, alicerçados à perspectiva crítico-reflexiva, como forma de potencializar a práxis pedagógica de base inclusiva.
