Resumo: | In this essay, the current protocolary tendency that has been given to the application of ethics in research is examined, arguing that it not only escapes the fundamentals of the issue, but also it does not contribute to the qualification and development of research in education nor graduate training. Thus, the questioning of the foundations of ethics is resumed, assuming that it, as a human creation, is made in history and cannot be confused with any type of regulation, even though it may inspire norms and laws. Assuming the principle that ethics permeates the entire research process, the challenges posed to the organization and functioning of graduate programs are highlighted, and the need for a profound review of both what is understood by committee of ethics (which should be reorganized as a research regulation committee) and ways of promoting ethics itself, in its epistemological foundation, in graduate programs. Education.En este ensayo, se examina la actual tendencia de carácter protocolar que se le ha dado a la aplicación de la ética en la investigación, argumentando que no solo escapa a los fundamentos de la cuestión, sino que tampoco contribuye a la calificación y el desarrollo de la investigación en Educación ni de la formación del nivel de posgrado. Así, se retoma el cuestionamiento de los fundamentos de la ética, asumiendo que ésta, como creación humana, se hace en la historia y no puede confundirse con ningún tipo de regulación, aunque pueda inspirar normas y leyes. Asumiendo el principio de que la ética permea todo el proceso de investigación, se destacan los desafíos que se le plantean a la organización y al funcionamiento de los programas de posgrado, y se indica la necesidad de una revisión profunda tanto de lo que se entiende por comité de ética (que debe ser reorganizado como comité de regulación de la investigación), como de las formas de promoción de la ética misma, en su fundamento epistemológico, en los programas de posgrado. Educación.Neste ensaio, examina-se a atual tendência de caráter protocolar que se tem dado à aplicação da ética na pesquisa, argumentando que ela não só escapa propriamente aos fundamentos da questão como não contribui para a qualificação e o desenvolvimento nem da pesquisa em educação nem da formação em nível de pós-graduação. Retoma-se, assim, o questionamento sobre os fundamentos da ética, assumindo que ela, como criação humana, faz-se na história e não se confunde com nenhum tipo de regramento, ainda que possa inspirar normas e leis. Assumindo o princípio de que a ética perpassa todo o processo de pesquisa, destacam-se os desafios que se põe à organização e ao funcionamento dos programas de pós-graduação e indica-se a necessidade de revisão profunda tanto do que se entende por comitê de ética (que deve ser reorganizado como comitê de regulação da pesquisa) como das formas de promoção da própria ética, em seu fundamento epistemológico, nos programas de pós-graduação.
