Common Core State Standards (BNCC) and the Common Core from Santa Catarina: dangerous crossings in the struggle against social inequalities

Resumo: This article aims to reflect on the social challenges arising from the implementation of the Common Core State Standards (called in Brazil Base Nacional Comum Curricular – BNCC), as a public policy that assumes in its proposal the fight against social inequalities in the construction of the common core of the states in the Brazilian territory. The reflection problematizes the process and the construction of the Common Core (now homologated) of the High School of the area of Applied Social Sciences and Humanities of Santa Catarina. It is an exploratory investigation, of a qualitative nature of the bibliographic type with participant and documental data collection. The results indicated weaknesses in the construction of the common core in the aspects that constitute a perspective of human formation: criticism, ethics and integral education of young people from Santa Catarina. It is concluded that, in the way in which the text of the Common Core of the State of Santa Catarina was elaborated, of High School of the area of Applied Social Sciences and Humanities, the emphasis of the educational process was sustained in neoliberal logics, of competition and meritocracy, that in our reading, they amplify the social inequalities of the territory of Santa Catarina. Social inequalities.Este artículo tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre los desafíos sociales ocurridos a partir de la implementación de la Base Nacional Común Curricular (BNCC), como una política pública que asume en su proposición el combate a las desigualdades sociales en la construcción de los currículos de los estados en territorio brasileño.  La reflexión problematiza el proceso y la construcción del Currículo (ahora homologado), de la Enseñanza Secundaria del Área de las Ciencias Humanas y Sociales Aplicadas de Santa Catarina. Se trata de una investigación exploratoria, de naturaleza cualitativa de tipo bibliográfico con recolección de datos participante y documental. Los resultados indicaron fragilidades en la construcción del currículo en los aspectos que constituyen una perspectiva de formación humana: crítica, ética e integral de los jóvenes catarinenses. Se concluye que, de la forma en que fue construido, el texto del currículo del Estado de Santa Catarina, de la Enseñanza Secundaria del Área de Ciencias Humanas y Sociales Aplicadas, el énfasis del proceso educativo se sustentó en lógicas neoliberales, de competencia y de meritocracia que, en esta lectura, amplifican las desigualdades sociales del territorio de Santa Catarina. A reflexão problematiza o processo e a construção do Currículo (agora homologado), do Ensino Médio da área das Ciências Humanas e Sociais Aplicadas de Santa Catarina. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória, de natureza qualitativa do tipo bibliográfico com coleta de dados participante e documental. Os resultados indicaram fragilidades na construção do currículo nos aspectos que constituem uma perspectiva de formação humana: crítica, ética e integral dos jovens catarinenses. Conclui-se que, da forma como foi construído, o texto do currículo do Estado de Santa Catarina, do Ensino Médio da área de Ciências Humanas e Sociais Aplicadas, a ênfase do processo educacional se sustentou em lógicas neoliberais, de competição e de meritocracia, que, nesta leitura, amplificam as desigualdades sociais do território catarinense.  Palavras-chave: Base Nacional Comum Curricular.
