Resumo: | This article aims to reflect on a representation of the folk myth in the Brazilian digital age. For that, we rescued the concepts discussed by Folkcomunicação from Beltrão (1980) and Folkmídia, with Luyten (2002), an end of social observations through the resignifications assumed by the character Cuca in the networks. At the end of the research, it is concluded that folklore is mutable and is irrevocably conditioned to technological advances, which means that the character and the barriers attributed will help perpetuity in the process of perpetuating the culture, new and additional meanings so that it can overcome geographical barriers. |
