Emergency remote teaching in the COVID-19 Pandemic: experience report

Resumo: | This work is of a qualitative nature and brings an autobiographical account of experience in teaching Higher Education in a private for-profit institution, during law, in Minas Gerais, for the corpus of analysis of scientific research. With the aim of discussing the difficulties of the HEI in times of social distancing and lockdowns, the commitment of education professionals and the lack of motivation shown by students, and the positive points surrounding these issues. The study is situated within the scope of (auto)biographical research in the right to education and has the autobiographical narrative as an investigation method. The study reveals that emergency remote teaching is far from the ideal type of university education, however, given the categorical factors that make face-to-face classes unfeasible during the COVID-19 pandemic, this mode of teaching was the alternative of higher education and brought about deficiencies that were hidden, in the same way new Information and Communication Technologies emerged that have a positive reflection on the teaching and learning processes. |

Con el objetivo de discutir las dificultades de las IES en tiempos de distanciamiento social y posibles confinamientos, el compromiso de los profesionales de la educación y la falta de motivación de los estudiantes, y los puntos positivos que rodean estas cuestiones. El estudio se sitúa en el ámbito de la investigación (auto)biográfica en el derecho a la educación y tiene como método de investigación la narración autobiográfica. El estudio revela que la enseñanza a distancia de emergencia está lejos del tipo ideal de educación universitaria, sin embargo, dados los categóricos factores que hacen inviable las clases presenciales en el periodo de la pandemia del COVID-19, esta modalidad de enseñanza fue la alternativa de la educación superior y trajo carencias que se ocultaban, de la misma manera surgieron nuevas Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación que repercuten positivamente en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje.Este trabalho é de natureza qualitativa e traz um relato autobiográfico de experiência na docência do Ensino Superior em uma instituição privada com fins lucrativos, no curso de direito, em Minas Gerais, para o corpus de análise da investigação científica. Com o objetivo de dialogar sobre as dificuldades da IES em tempos de distanciamento social e eventuais lockdowns, o empenho dos profissionais da educação e a desmotivação apresentadas pelos alunos, e os pontos positivos no entorno dessas questões. O estudo está situado no âmbito da pesquisa (auto)biográfica em direito à educação e tem a narrativa autobiográfica como método de investigação.
