Reflective experience report of supervised internship: prototyping didactic proposal to use podcast as an educational tool

Resumo: | This work is an experience report developed within the scope of the supervised internship of the Graduate Program in Education and Science Teaching in the Amazon. Its objective was to assess whether the adoption of podcasts as a knowledge application strategy assists in the teaching and learning process of Basic Education students. The activities were conducted through a teaching sequence, supported by Paulo Freire’s pedagogy and structured in the Three Pedagogical Moments format. First-year high school students were challenged to participate in the production of an educational podcast on Water Pollution and Contamination. Three episodes were produced. Finally, an individual questionnaire was administered, focusing on understanding the participants' perception of the educational potential of podcast production. The data analysis revealed a widespread understanding of the aspects that enhance podcasts as an educational tool, as well as the democratization of technology access, thus allowing for the sharing of knowledge and experiences. |

Tuvo como objetivo evaluar si la adopción de podcasts como estrategia de aplicación del conocimiento ayuda en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de los estudiantes de Educación Básica. Las actividades se llevaron a cabo a través de una Secuencia Didáctica, apoyada en la pedagogía de Paulo Freire y estructurada según los Tres Momentos Pedagógicos. Los estudiantes del primer año de enseñanza media fueron desafiados a participar en la producción de un podcast educativo sobre polución y contaminación del Agua. Se produjeron tres episodios. Al final, se aplicó un cuestionario individual, centrado en comprender la percepción de los participantes sobre el potencial educativo de la producción de podcasts. Los datos muestran una comprensión generalizada de los aspectos que potencian al podcast como herramienta educativa, así como la democratización del acceso a la tecnología, permitiendo así el intercambio de conocimientos y experiencias. Este trabalho é um relato de experiência desenvolvido no âmbito do estágio supervisionado do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação e Ensino de Ciências na Amazônia. Teve como objetivo avaliar se a adoção de podcasts como estratégia de aplicação do conhecimento auxilia no processo de ensino e aprendizagem de alunos da Educação Básica. As atividades foram conduzidas por meio de uma Sequência Didática, apoiada na pedagogia de Paulo Freire e estruturada nos moldes dos Três Momentos Pedagógicos. Os educandos do 1°ano do ensino médio foram desafiados a participar da produção de podcast educativo sobre Poluição e Contaminação das Águas. Três episódios foram produzidos. Ao final, foi aplicado um questionário individual, focado em compreender a percepção dos participantes quanto ao potencial educativo da produção de podcast.
