Curation for a Digital Educational Resources Platform: concepts and practices analyzed and built for a proposal

Resumo: | This research aims to propose a digital curation process for Digital Educational Resources platforms. Since, from the critical perspective of technology, we understand that technologies are non-neutral processes, marked by the conceptions and intentionalities of the subjects and institutions that conceive them. Through complex processes of development, validation and evaluation, technological products and contents carry values. Thus, we question ourselves specifically about the processes of evaluation and validation of the contents made available on educational platforms, claiming ways to guarantee a greater participation of the subjects in the decisions about the development of these technologies. To this end, the investigation is based on the theoretical references of critical technology theory and in works in the field of educational technology on digital curation. As a methodological procedure, it was divided into three research phases: (I) a review of the literature regarding the concepts and applications of digital curation; (II) research and analysis of the publication and evaluation of Digital Educational Resources on Digital platforms and a (III) prospective research with teachers of Brazilian basic education. The study results in a proposal for digital curation created in a collective process and houses curation flows and criteria, for all the necessary steps in its process, considering the internal and external factors present in the Digital platforms, I understand the political scenario that governs society and the most varied contexts of users of these platforms. |

Desde la perspectiva crítica de la tecnología, entendemos que las tecnologías son procesos no neutrales, marcados por las concepciones e intencionalidades de los sujetos e instituciones que las conciben. A través de complejos procesos de desarrollo, validación y evaluación, los productos y contenidos tecnológicos tienen valores. Por lo tanto, nos preguntamos específicamente sobre los procesos de evaluación y validación de los contenidos disponibles en las plataformas educativas, reclamando formas de garantizar una mayor participación de los sujetos en las decisiones sobre el desarrollo de estas tecnologías. Con este fin, la investigación se basa en las referencias teóricas de la teoría crítica de la tecnología y en trabajos en el campo de la tecnología educativa en curaduría digital. Como procedimiento metodológico, se dividió en tres fases de investigación: (I) una revisión de la literatura sobre los conceptos y aplicaciones de la curaduría digital; (II) investigación y análisis de la publicación y evaluación de Recursos Educativos Digitales en plataformas digitales y (III) investigación prospectiva con docentes de educación básica brasileña. El estudio da como resultado una propuesta de curaduría digital creada en un proceso colectivo y contiene flujos y criterios de curaduría, para todos los pasos necesarios en su proceso, teniendo en cuenta los factores internos y externos presentes en las plataformas digitales, entiendo el escenario político que rige la sociedad y Los contextos más variados de los usuarios de estas plataformas.Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo propor um processo de curadoria digital para plataformas Digitais de Recursos Educacionais. Visto que, a partir da perspectiva crítica da tecnologia compreendemos que as tecnologias constituem processos não neutros, marcados pelas concepções e intencionalidades dos sujeitos e instituições que as concebem. Por meio de processos complexos de desenvolvimento, validação e avaliação, os produtos e conteúdos tecnológicos carregam valores. Assim, nos questionamos especificamente sobre os processos de avaliação e validação dos conteúdos disponibilizados em plataformas educacionais, reivindicando formas de garantir uma maior participação dos sujeitos nas decisões sobre o desenvolvimento destas tecnologias. Para tanto, a investigação está alicerçada nos referenciais teóricos da teoria crítica de tecnologia e em trabalhos do campo da tecnologia educacional sobre curadoria digital. Como procedimento metodológico dividiu-se em três fases de pesquisa: (I) uma revisão da literatura quanto aos conceitos e aplicações da curadoria digital; (II) pesquisa e análise da publicação e avaliação de Recursos Educacionais Digitais (RED) em plataformas Digitais e uma (III) pesquisa prospectiva com professores da educação básica brasileira.
