Remote teaching from the perspective of the Pedagogical Residency: an experience report

Resumo: With the Covid-19 pandemic, schools around the world paralyzed their face-to-face activities and joined remote activities, reorganizing the physical classroom for the digital environment. As a result, teachers, parents and students had to adapt to this new reality, as well as the activities carried out by the residents. In this way, this work aims to bring reflections on remote teaching in the pandemic from the perspective of the Pedagogical Residency Program in the discipline of science and biology in a public school in the city of Ponta Grossa. Some points observed and experienced during remote teaching were discussed, such as student attendance and participation, based on specialized literature in the area, and also identifying aspects that need to be adjusted. It is necessary to think of different ways to guarantee quality in the teaching-learning process, even though difficulties are present, both on the part of students and teachers.

En consecuencia, docentes, padres y alumnos debieron adaptarse a esta nueva realidad, así como a las actividades realizadas por los residentes. De esta forma, este trabajo tiene como objetivo traer reflexiones sobre la enseñanza a distancia en la pandemia en la perspectiva del Programa de Residencia Pedagógica en la disciplina de ciencias y biología en una escuela pública de la ciudad de Ponta Grossa. Se discutieron algunos puntos observados y experimentados durante la enseñanza remota, como la asistencia y participación de los estudiantes, con base en la literatura especializada en el área, y también identificando aspectos que necesitan ser ajustados. Es necesario pensar en diferentes formas de garantizar la calidad en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, aunque se presenten dificultades, tanto por parte de los estudiantes como de los docentes.Com a pandemia de Covid-19 escolas em todo o mundo paralisaram suas atividades presenciais e aderiram às atividades remotas, reorganizando a sala de aula física para o meio digital. Com isso, professores, pais e alunos tiveram que se adaptar a esta nova realidade, bem como as atividades realizadas pelos residentes. Desta forma, este trabalho tem como objetivo trazer reflexões sobre o ensino remoto na pandemia sob a perspectiva do Programa Residência Pedagógica na disciplina de ciências e de biologia em uma escola pública da cidade de Ponta Grossa. Foram discutidos alguns pontos observados e vivenciados ao longo do ensino remoto, como a frequência e a participação dos alunos, com base na literatura especializada na área, e, também, identificando aspectos que necessitam ser ajustados.
