Reflections on teacher malaise in the field of Early Childhood Education

Resumo: The professional practice in Early Childhood Education presents a complex trajectory intertwined with teacher malaise, characterized as a permanent negative consequence of the social conditions in which professional practice takes place, affecting professionals in their psychological and physical state. The objective of this research is to understand and analyze the origins of this malaise through content analysis methodology as a data analysis technique in the context of the qualitative approach. The findings point to direct and indirect factors as the origin of teachers' malaise. The DIRECT FACTORS indicate the historical construction of the profession based on welfarism, in addition to ultra-liberal and conservative educational policies that see public education as a source of wealth accumulation and teachers as enemies. The INDIRECT FACTORS point to the permanent connection made by society between the maternal figure and the female teachers of Early Childhood Education.

El objetivo de esta investigación es comprender y analizar los orígenes de este malestar a través de la metodología de análisis de contenido como técnica de análisis de datos en el contexto del enfoque cualitativo. Los hallazgos apuntan como origen del malestar docente factores directos e indirectos. Los FACTORES DIRECTOS indican la construcción histórica de la profesión basada en el asistencialismo, además de políticas educativas con una agenda ultraliberal y conservadora que ven a la educación pública como fuente de acumulación de riqueza y a las maestras como enemigas. Los FACTORES INDIRECTOS apuntan a la conexión permanente, por parte de la sociedad, entre la figura materna y las docentes de Educación Infantil.O exercício profissional na Educação Infantil apresenta trajetória complexa e entremeada pelo mal-estar docente caracterizado como consequência negativa permanente das condições sociais em que se desempenha o exercício profissional, acometendo os profissionais em seu estado psicológico e físico. O objetivo desta pesquisa é compreender e analisar as origens desse mal-estar por meio de metodologia de análise de conteúdo como técnica de análise de dados no contexto da abordagem qualitativa. Os achados apontam como origem do mal-estar docente fatores diretos e indiretos. Os FATORES DIRETOS indicam a construção histórica da profissão baseada no assistencialismo, além de políticas educacionais de agenda ultraliberal e conservadora que vê a educação pública como fonte de acúmulo de riqueza e as professoras como inimigas.
