This research aims to clarify some contours of a concept-experience central to the philosophy of Martin Heidegger, namely, the notion of affective tonality (in German, Stimmung). It aims to refer the being-there (Dasein) to the open space that becomes effective as the place of realization of its own existence. The affective tonality dimension the insertion of the being-there to the world, decisively determining its relation with the things that appear in the heart of the open, as well as its relations with the others, delimiting the terrain of the coexistence. In addition, such phenomena are, through specific characteristics of openness, understood as fundamental affective tonalities (Grudstimmung), essential instances for placing the being-there in the attempt to be singled out in the bulge of the semantic horizon that is his. Therefore, these affections are notable for also opening the scope of the unveiling of the being (Seyn), seized in its radical difference to the being, becoming notable as articulations that make possible the manifestation of being in the being. This event, finally, sets the clearing for the question of the truth of being.
