This dissertation aims to analyze the fundamental dialog between the notions of project and facticity in Being and Time. From the Heideggerian description that claims the being we ourselves are is marked by an original ontological incompleteness, we shall see how the existence may no longer be considered a mere objective presence of beings which simply exist in reality, but as the intentional dynamics in which the Dasein is determined specifically by means of the assumption of modes of being made possible by its own factical world. In effect, in basing the essence of the Dasein in its own existence, Heidegger investigates the characteristics of a strange being which, due to its indelible negativity, always finds itself held by the responsibility for his being within sedimented historical-mundane horizons. We shall also seek to elucidate how the latter are made up by an inexorable mantle of preconceptions acting as a hermeneutic obstacle to the philosophical event per se, in its turn conditioned by indomitable existential crises that can always befall a being in need of final configurations and open to the notable phenomenon of anguish.
