Resumo: The aim of this work is the development of educational tools that can provide theoretical support to the math teacher in relation to the concept of infinity, as well as in the development of activities aimed at facilitating student understanding in the subject. Therefore, the work focuses on the systematization of the infinite concept, seeking theoretical support the authors Boyer (1996), Aczel (2003) and Eves (2004) which allowed to build the trajectory of mathematicians exponents in the above concept, showing its main contributions. Thus, it was possible to develop a theoretical material for teachers in order to settle their main doubts on the subject. In addition, were developed two questionnaires and two activities to meet the demands of both, students and teachers. For students, the activity facilitates the understanding of the subject. For teachers, it is not only an educational tool to assist your work, but also allows the diagnosis of possible deficiencies in the student s learning, which might be concluded from the analysis of the results obtained from the application of these instruments into four groups of two public schools, one in Rio de Janeiro and another in Duque de Caxias, in the year 2015.

Para tanto, o trabalho se concentra na sistematização do conceito infinito, buscando suporte teórico nos autores Boyer (1996), Aczel (2003) e Eves (2004) o que permitiu construir a trajetória de matemáticos expoentes no conceito supracitado, evidenciando suas principais contribuições. Assim, foi possível elaborar um material teórico para os docentes a fim de sanar suas principais dúvidas quanto ao tema. Ademais, foram desenvolvidos dois questiona´rios e duas atividades para atender a`s demandas tanto dos discentes, quanto dos docentes. Para os alunos, a atividade permite facilitar a compreensão do assunto tratado.
