In parallel with the changes brought about by information and communication technologies (ICT) in the context of society and organizations like the training process to prepare the workers for immediate activities gave way to continuing education, aimed at training the individual in a broader perspective, preparing to deal with the constant social changes and the world around them. In the network society introduces a new concept of space: cyberspace. In this context, there are no physical barriers to the spread of events, news, customs and habits. For the purpose of interconnecting people, ideas and experiences, the Sesc has implemented a videoconferencing system to spread knowledge to its employees, geographically dispersed throughout Brazil. But experience has shown us that the demand for innovations in teaching and learning must be constant. In this quest as fully human, reflected on the potential of ICT to think on a process of continuing education that promotes: do together, the exchange of knowledge and ideas, to recognize the richness from the diversity of knowledge and practices, actions that foster dialogue, critical thinking and the will to learn more. In short, value the collective intelligence through collaboration. To get to the answers come to a path that involved study of bibliographic references, conducting a course by videoconference and proposition of experience in the virtual environment that served as an object of study, definition and implementation of quantitative data collection techniques and qualitative whose investigation results allowed us elucidations able to answer the hypothesis formulated in the research, as results showed that create situations in which the professional and life experiences practices can be shared are crucial for learning in continuing education processes and in the context researched, videoconferencing, facilitated by leading professors in their fields, to happen synchronously and be the media distance learning, which is closest to the classroom teaching, proved the potential to share with participants mainly official content, from research and bibliographic references and the virtual learning environment, complementing the videoconferencing sessions as space to enable meetings, share knowledge, experiences and ideas, promoting debate about the everyday practice, taking as a starting point guiding questions to the contents presented in class given by videoconference, in other words, a favorable space to share and reflect the practice from the theory and practice.
