Desigualdades educacionais: discriminação, estigma e retraimento no contexto do ambiente escolar e das novas desigualdades contemporâneas

Resumo: This thesis intends to analyze experiences that occur and/or consolidate in the school environment by individuals such as (students, teacher, parents, pedagogical team, management team and assistants in basic education services) at the contemporary inequalities context and specifically at the school inequalities. And also comprehend starting from a participant observation accomplished in an elementary and secondary education public school from the State Educational System of Montes Claros city the relations established between subjects in school life and the effects on school performance of students; in addition to identify the main perceptions of students, teachers, pedagogical team, management team and assistants in basic education services regarding discrimination, stigma and withdrawal in the school environment. During the analysis process, it sought to map the main classical and contemporary fundamentals about the topic of inequalities in the social sciences. In the midst of this core it is demarcated the analysis of educational inequalities in Montes Claros city (Minas Gerais) and Brazil. It was used the concentrated methodological strategy in the context of qualitative research with emphasis on observation - used way to assist on rapprochement of the analyzed individuals. The semi-structured interviews, document analysis, conversations in the corridors of the school environment, in the teacher's lounge, in the supervision room and participation in the daily school life were the main analytical basis of that research. After analyzing and evaluating all materials investigated is concluded that despite advances in the Brazilian educational system from the 1988 Constitution, school and educational inequalities seem to have a tendency to multiply and the perverse side arising from that scenery manifests from of the proliferation of stigma and discrimination.

E ainda, compreender, a partir de uma observação participante efetuada em uma escola pública do ensino fundamental e médio da rede estadual de Montes Claros, as relações instituídas entre os sujeitos no cotidiano escolar e seus efeitos na trajetória escolar dos alunos; além de Identificar as principais percepções dos alunos, professores, equipe pedagógica, equipe de gestão e auxiliares de serviços de educação básica no que tange à discriminação, estigma e retraimento no ambiente escolar. Durante o processo de análise, procurou mapear os principais fundamentos clássicos e contemporâneos acerca do tema das desigualdades nas Ciências Sociais. Nesse bojo, delimitou-se a análise sobre as desigualdades educacionais na cidade de Montes Claros (MG) e no Brasil. A estratégia metodológica concentrou-se no âmbito da pesquisa qualitativa com ênfase na observação participante - caminho perseguido para ajudar na aproximação dos sujeitos investigados. As entrevistas semiestruturadas, a análise documental, as conversas e escutas nos corredores, na sala de supervisão, na sala dos professores e a participação no cotidiano escolar constituíram a principal base de análise.
