Resumo: The master's dissertation, which it is presented here, focuses, as a theme, on the feminine subject in literature. Having as fictional corpus some stories of “Little Red Riding Hood” that integrate tradition and contemporaneity, a research aims to observe the social structures that modulate not only the behavior of these female characters, but also the plot and the narrative structure; conceptualize feminism and feminist struggles; investigate and reflect on patriarchal discourses and their deconstruction from a Western imaginary of female behavior. For this, we analyze, through the intertextuality bias, the contents of “Little Red Riding Hood” in tradition, by the narratives of the writers Charles Perrault (1628-1703), Jacob (1785-1863) and Wilhelm (1786-1859) Grimm, and the contemporary narratives Little colored riding hood, by José Roberto Torero (1963-) and Marcus Aurelius Pimenta (1962-), potentially directed to childhood, and “The company of wolves”, in the book The blood chamber, by Angela Carter (1940 - 1992), which can be read by young and adult readers. Starting from a comparative methodology, of bibliographic nature, the fictional corpus is focused in the light of different theories: the studies on feminism are based on the work of Lúcia Osana Zolin (2009), Glória Pondé (2018) and Djamila Ribeiro (2018); the historical approach of 17th century French society is based on Robert Darnton (1998), Marina Warner (1999) and Mariza Mendes (2000), while research on postmodernity is based on Zygmunt Bauman (2007, 2011); the psychoanalytic perspective of fairy tales is based on Bruno Bettelheim (2002) and Diana Lichtenstein Corso and Mario Corso (2006); character analysis is based on Carlos Reis (2018), about intertextuality, in Julia Kristeva (1974), revisionism is sustained by Maria Cristina Martins (2015) and, specifically dealing with literature, in Antonio Candido (2014), Michèle Petit (2008), Sonia Salomão Khéde (1986), Nelly Novaes Coelho (2000) and Regina Michelli (2006)

Made available in DSpace on 2021-09-10T18:17:47Z (GMT).
