Resumo: Qualitative, descriptive and exploratory research with quantitative support, using the data triangulation method. The object of this study is the perception of Nursing graduates about of world of work, considering the theoretical and practical content they had in their professional training during the undergraduate course. The objectives were: a) To characterize sociodemographic and labor aspects of undergraduate nursing students from two public universities in Rio de Janeiro; b) To identify the perception of the nursing graduates about the world of work in which they are inserted, considering the qualification they had in the undergraduate courses of these two universities to work in this world of work; c) To analyse the pleasure and the suffering of the graduates of Nursing due to their work in the world of work, considering the qualification they had in the undergraduate courses of these two universities. The study was approved under protocol number of Certificate of Presentation for Ethical Appreciation (CAAE): 1.293.828. The participants of this research were 139 graduates for the quantitative approach and 43 graduates for the qualitative approach of two federal public universities in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The data collection was realized in June to September of 2016 thorough a questionnaire and interview both semistructured. The data of characterization of the participants were analyzed through two statistical methodologies: the non-parametric Wilcoxon Mann-Whitney and the Chi-square test. The technique used for the treatment of subjective data was the textual analysis with the aid of software called IRAMUTEQ (Interface de R pour les Analyses Multidimensionsionnelles de Textes et de Questionnaires) associated to the Thematic Content Analysis, thus emerging in three thematic so named: I) Context of health work: facillitating and limiting aspects of the work of the graduates, which deals with the organizaion of work in health in which the graduates are inserted and of the factors that facilitate and impede the execution of the work of these professionals. II) Dialetics of pleasure and suffering in nursing work: determinants and conditioning factors, which discusses the different perceptions of the graduates regarding pleasure and suffering in and through work; and III) Impacts of training in graduate performance in the world of work, which discusses the impact of academic-pedagogical actions on the training of the students, as well as the potentialities and weaknesses of this training against the demands of the world of work. It was concluded that there is need to priorize training that question issues of broad social significance, through critical and reflexive thinking, in which the reality of the life of the graduates should be explored to foster reflections in the academic field, promoting a real perception of the work in which they are inserted. It is suggested that this graduate be followed not only in the world of work but also in their professional aspiration with the objective of obtaining an evolutaion of importance of the higher education institution in the process of formation, encouraging reforms and improvements in the academic world.

O objeto deste estudo é a percepção de egressos de Enfermagem sobre o mundo do trabalho, considerando o conteúdo teórico e prático que tiveram em sua formação profissional durante o curso de graduação. Objetivos: a) Caracterizar aspectos sociodemográficos e laborais dos egressos do curso de graduação em Enfermagem de duas universidades públicas do Rio de Janeiro; b) Identificar a percepção dos egressos de Enfermagem sobre o mundo do trabalho em que estão inseridos, considerando a capacitação que tiveram nos cursos de graduação dessas duas universidades para atuarem nesse mundo do trabalho; c) Analisar o prazer e o sofrimento dos egressos de Enfermagem decorrentes da atuação no mundo do trabalho, considerando a capacitação que tiveram nos cursos de graduação dessas duas universidades. Salienta-se que o estudo foi aprovado sob número de protocolo do Certificado de Apresentação para Apreciação Ética (CAAE) 1.293.828. Os participantes desta pesquisa foram 139 egressos para a abordagem quantitativa e 43 egressos para a abordagem qualitativa de duas universidades públicas federais do município do Rio de Janeiro. A coleta de dados ocorreu em junho a setembro de 2016 por meio de um questionário e entrevista ambos semiestruturados. Os dados da caracterização dos participantes foram analisados através de duas metodologias estatísticas: o teste não paramétrico de Wilcoxon Mann-Whitney e o teste Qui-quadrado. Já a técnica utilizada para o tratamento dos dados subjetivos foi a análise textual com o auxílio de software denominado IRAMUTEQ (Interface de R pour les Analyses Multidimensionsionnelles de Textes et de Questionnaires) associado à Análise Temática de Conteúdo, emergindo em três categorias temáticas assim denominadas: I) Contexto do trabalho em saúde: aspectos facilitadores e limitadores da atuação dos egressos, que trata da organização do trabalho em saúde na qual os egressos estão inseridos e dos fatores facilitadores e dificultadores para a execução do trabalho desses profissionais. II) Dialética do prazer e sofrimento no trabalho da enfermagem: determinantes e condicionantes, que discute as diferentes percepções dos egressos quanto ao prazer e sofrimento no e pelo trabalho; e III) Impactos da formação na atuação do egresso no mundo do trabalho, em que se discute o impacto das ações acadêmicas-pedagógicas na formação dos estudados, bem como as potencialidades e fragilidades dessa formação frente às exigências do mundo do trabalho. Concluiu-se a necessidade de priorizar uma formação que problematize as questões de amplo significado social, por meio do pensamento crítico e reflexivo, no qual a realidade da vida dos egressos deve ser explorada para fomentar as reflexões no âmbito acadêmico, promovendo uma real percepção de trabalho em que se inserem.
