Interpretando dados do cotidiano: o ensino de Estatística na educação básica

Resumo: Statistics is a science with its concepts and methods of data collection, organization and analysis of information that are part of the curricula of basic education in the practice of mathematics teachers, so that students understand, analyze, critique and form opinion on the issues economic and social. This research sought to reflect on teaching practices of mathematics teachers in the teaching of statistics in high school, based on the guidelines for the teaching of statistics in the proposals of the High School Curriculum Standards, the contributions of significant learning in teaching statistics with the use of technology in education, through the proposed work plans that address the content of teaching and the use of statistical software livreCalc. Regarding methodological approaches a literature search was conducted using the method of deductive approach, using indirect documentation as source of scientific research with a focus on teaching and learning of Statistics and Probability in Elementary Education jobs. The development of this research highlight possible methodological approaches to be developed by mathematics teachers in basic education which will help in the interpretation of the data daily from analysis of charts, graphical analysis of the position measurements, measures of dispersion and trend lines using as the tools of Information and Communication Technologies as having theoretical foundation contributions of David Ausubel's concept of meaningful learning.

A presente pesquisa buscou refletir sobre as práticas pedagógicas do professor de matemática no ensino de estatística no ensino médio, tendo como base as orientações para o ensino de estatísticas nas propostas dos Parâmetros Curriculares do Ensino Médio, as contribuições da aprendizagem significativa no ensino de estatística, com o uso das tecnologias na educação, através da proposta de planos de trabalho que abordem os conteúdos do ensino de estatística e a utilização do software livreCalc. Em relação aos caminhos metodológicos foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica, utilizando o método de abordagem dedutivo, através de documentação indireta tendo como fonte de pesquisa os trabalhos científicos com foco no ensino e na aprendizagem da Estatística e da Probabilidade na Educação Básica.
