Resumo: The main object of this dissertation is comprehend how relationships and educative networks involving the kids who are responsible by the drumst in the Afro-Brazilian terreiros, who are named as ogans, occur and how they are constructed. The ogan role is assigned to individuals who do not enter in trance and are responsible, among many other functions, for play the sacred instruments. This group of individuals are usual in Afro-Brazilian religions and has great relevance as they are below only the responsible for the terreiro in the religion’s hierarchy. According to the origins of the studied house and its nation or root, the ogan also can be called astata kambondo or curimbeiros and curimbeiras - the last ones are found at Umbanda’s houses. This analysis also seeks to understand the organization of the terreiro as a educational space- time coming to a reflexion about these concepts and through the angle of sacred spaces and the educational process wich composes it. The terreiro’s construction and it’s social role are spatially and symbolically weaving of a series of practices and coexistences in these daily lives. These practices and overflows are analysed through the decolonialism view and its insurgencies and resistances that cross our existences. The drums, instruments of the ogans in rituals, come to be seen as symbols of resistance a differentiated grammar that guides the teachings in the terreiros and that configures itself as a decolonial tool. This research, besides the dialogs and fieldwork with ogans, curimbeiros e curimbeira, was also built on the notions of autobiography and memoirs, once the author was a terreiro child and holds the position of ogan inside his house. This crossing of memories and children's narratives was the power that made it possible to perceive the decolonial and ancestral knowledge that education in terreiros makes possible.

This crossing of memories and children's narratives was the power that made it possible to perceive the decolonial and ancestral knowledge that education in terreiros makes possible. Submitted by Mariangela CEH/A (marianfig.uerj@gmail.com) on 2022-07-11T12:49:43Z No. of bitstreams: 2 Dissertação - João Victor Gonçalves Ferreira - 2021 - Completa.pdf: 2249592 bytes, checksum: 57114396b390eb7cf7f9660978cdb267 (MD5) license_rdf: 0 bytes, checksum: d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2022-07-11T12:49:43Z (GMT).
