This thesis deals with the refutations of the structural crisis of capital in the work of the social worker in SUAS, as a result of the researcher's concerns about: conditions and labor relations at the state level in the financialization of the economy; productive restructuring and neoliberal radicalization, which deepen changes in social policies and the labor market, changing processes and working conditions, which tend to be deregulated and flexibilized, combining a broad retraction of institutional resources and the disarticulation of social rights. In this sense, the study, on the screen, seeks to present theoretical reflections, around the contemporary approaches of the impacts of the crisis on the work of the social worker. For the empirical analysis of conditions and labor relations in SUAS, a resizing was done in two municipalities of the State of Rio de Janeiro - São Gonçalo and Itaboraí - in their respective equipment, CRAS and CREAS, in the period of 2018. The research comes from the identification of the profession in its social relations, mediated by the conditions of wage labor and subjected to processes of intensification and precarization, in the context of the structural crisis of contemporary capitalism.
